	Owensboro Beats Frankfort 71-67 in an NABL Photofinish

	The Owensboro Showboats 71-67 in another NABL nail biter in Frankfort. The Showboats (1-2) won their first ever NABL game while the Cattle Barons (1-4) fell into the NABL basement. Michael Nurse led the Showboats with 18 points while Mario Bland added 13 and Tony Lovan added 10. Franklin Paul scored 15 for the Cattle Barons while Jarrod West chipped in 13 and Terrance Newby added 11. The Showboats started slow and were behind 15-10 at the first quarter and 37-27 at the half. In the second half the Showboats got hot and pulled ahead. Frankfort made a furious run at the end but came up short. The Showboats next host the Charleston Bombers Sunday at 7pm at the SportsCenter in Owensboro. The Cattle Barons are off until January 30th when they travel to Kentucky.
